My FIRST wow was the 135L. Looked different sooc than anything else I'd shot with. Biggest wow was 70-200 mkII. Still can't believe the detail of the shots I've gotten with that lens. Maybe I'll own it again someday...

I fell in love with my 70-200 f4 L almost immediately. Terrific lens! My daughter bought a 70-200 f2.8L and sold me her 70-200 f4 L. Lucky me!

First wow: 100mm macro (non L) - prime IQ blew me away... It's. been downhill (on my wallet) since.

Second wow: 135L - That buttery smooth focusing ring will always have a special place in my heart... Oh yeah... The IQ is legendary.

70-200 f4 IS. The AF speed ruined me for most every other lens I've used.

My first Wow: 135L.

Same. The 135L definitely gives you the wow factor.

2nd wow is my Sigma 35 i recently acquired. The sharpness @ f1.4 is jaw dropping :p

My first L lens, obviously, the 70-200 f/4 IS. It was so sharp on my old 400D, that I got sharpening artifacts with sharpening turned off in my raw converter. 5D2 fixed that problem.

I acquired an expensive camera so I can hang out in forums, annoy wedding photographers during formals and look down on P&S users... all the while telling people it's the photographer, not the camera.

24-70L.
I actually rented a 24-70L before i bought my 50 f1.8 which made me "wow-er" due to the f-stop and shallow depth of field.

I wowed more than once:
- 50F1.8 (DOF and sharpness on F/5.6)
- Tokina 11-16 (Sharpness, wideness and built quality)
- 24-70L (First FF lens, sharpness stopped down)
- 85LII (DOF, sharpness, and color)

I am not in love anymore with the 24-70L. Thinking about a 35mm replacement.
