Single Speedotron 202VF head in a 5' Creative Light Octa and lit with the modeling light. Batteries went dead in the triggers.

Zansho, I'm jealous of your ridiculous lighting skills. Amazing lighting skills.

Hahaha, he does, a bit!

Thanks JakAHearts, much appreciated! I'm still trying to get to where I'd like to be, but it's always nice to see others enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it. :)

I love the blue colors on the necklace! Did you enhance it in Photoshop?

No the colours are left untouched. :)

I looked up what "feathered" means and I thought I finally understood it... How does the term apply here? I guess I don't really know what it means...

Here are a couple with off-camera flash (the second one was behind me and bounced off ceiling)

For my main flash (when I add a second one), should I get a large one if I'm going to be shooting events? Such as a 580EX or NIkon SB-800/900. The flash I have now is manual only, but I plan on using it for rim light/way off camera

Any advice for me? I'm a real newb at this..! I plan on getting something like an umbrella box or large softbox..

I usually don't add vignetting like that, but the background was a bit busy and ugly. I didn't plan on taking a portrait of him, but I thought the lighting was quite nice so i went with it

I bought my Mola about 3 months ago and haven't had any time to use it what so ever. I finally found the time to get out and shoot a couple weeks ago but had no model to work with so my girlfriend volunteered. Just goofing around but I'm definitely loving the Mola as a simple one-light setup so far. It began to rain 15 mins in, so we barely got setup before having to pack up and make a dash for the car. :( More to come! Engagement shoot tomorrow :)
