I hope enthusiasm for this camera picks up. 2 pages isnt exactly what I would have expected after this much time in the market.
Thanks to those whom have contributed so far.

Isn't the G15 just a bulky S100-S110 with a hot shoe and a sightly faster lens?

Probably would feel that way if you purchased an S100-S110 and had one of those "coulda had a V8" moments and felt you had to justify your purchase.

I was hoping for a better response, but from quick research the g15 lens is faster on both ends 1.8-2.8 and a flippy screen. Soo ...I may see the attraction...thanks

no flippy screen, but much brighter/sharper screen image. I've only handled one in Best Buy recently, but not purchased...yet. It's about the same size as my G9, so I would have to sell the G9, and not sure I really want to...yet.

Dennis

Thanks Dennis, I noticed the flippy screen was omitted. I've owned the G11..so familiar with the size. Anything else that would make it stand out from past G's

This website lets you compare cameras, so it may provide some additional differences between the G15 and G12 (I input these two).

Just got mine this evening. A couple practice shots. First one at normal wide angle and one at 21mm wide courtesy Nikon WC-E75 and a generic lens adaptor for G15.
