I've been having lots of fun with the Snowy Owls that have seemed to become "residents" of our area this winter, after a few others scouted out the region last year !!! I've come across 8 different owls this year....most hang out on the telephone poles in the area, but every once in a while, they decide to go for a spin !!

Yes...taken with the 400mm f5.6 .
JTF... that's the top of a spruce tree on an abandoned farm. The last photo is the same Snowy in the barn rafters... the barn is half demolished !! It was taken a few days before the first one !
