Experimenting with lighting. Next time I'll use a backdrop and not the wall.

Any suggestions. I need to learn more about lighting

Thanks everyone. And SJC thanks for asking about her. Yes she did. She is doing A LOT better than expected. She has a big ball at her joint, the vet said that's her tendon balled up. But it looks like it's also scarring as she's getting some bumps along the tendon now, that I can only assume is scar tissue forming. Her tendon is no longer smooth like the one on her right leg.

She can walk and run now. A lot of times she'll still kinda hop on 3 legs, but more and more she's walking normal. I'm really happy about it.

Nice shot Abby! I like the color you captured in her eyes. I'm glad she's recovering from her injury :)

I have a black dog (well, tri-color) and it is definitely a challenge to get the right exposure, sharpness, etc. I have found the best lighting technique has been bouncing my flash off the ceiling - lights very evenly when done right and keeps your image balanced.

So glad to read she is doing better.
