I also stick to jpeg with my X100. I have not been able to achieve better results with LR from raw over the Fuji jpeg so I gave up.

My 7D on the other hand... needs to shoot raw for best results.

I felt the same way with my x10...the jpegs sooc were fantastic!

Mid to late March is what I am hearing.

Won't even consider an X100S until someone figures out the XTRANS RAW thing. Does look like a might fine camera, though!

And yeah, y'all should be out buying used X100s now. The best camera I've ever owned - at least in situations where I don't need lightning fast operation.

Pre-Ordered the x100s. Really excited for the release. Been looking for a walk around camera to carry with me pretty much all the time. Don't feel like walking around with my 5d mkiii or mkii haha. All the feedback I've read from the x100 the x100s was a no brainer after seeing the improvements.

^let me tell you, the x100 is my go to camera now when travelling.
the 5D2 and lenses are just sitting in the bag for landscape and wildlife while i bring the x100 with me for a walk (in florida right nw and alwas had the x100 in WDW and universal, much pleasant to carry than dslr)
its funny because i dont like 35mm on dslr however the fl is perfect on the x100.
anxiously awaiting for the x100s but otherwise the x109 gets my shot 95% of the tie

Just preordered the X100S from Amazon. With any luck it will be here in a month or so. No real hurry though, they won't charge me until they ship and I can always cancel if I get tired of waiting.

Very exited on the x100s news, might have to pick one of these up

Canceled my X100s order for now. Spent the money on a new 6D and some lenses which brings me into the full frame world. My X100 will be with me a bit longer, makes me feel a little better since it was purchased new and the resale value is nearly down 50%.

If you think resale value is low now, wait until the x100s hits the market next month! The used market should be flooded with used x100 cameras. That's when I'll swoop in...

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. I was also thinking about the X20, which will probably cost more (at $600) than a used X100.

if the slow AF on the X100 wasn't holding you back then I say you have nothing to regret about.
sold my X100s to my friend after using it in Florida(sold it for them same $650 I bought it for), so now anxiously awaiting for the X100s and having to use my M6 while waiting

There is nothing wrong with the X100, I truly love that camera. Its the what I grab anytime I head out. But the X100s improves on an already great camera, hard to resist!

Yes X100 resale will hurt in a month. I'll probably keep my X100 till the price drops on the X100s.

This wait is killing me......
