Thanx for the kind words!

It was likely very cold on the mountains, but at our cabin on that day it was above freezing. The cabin was in sunshine but the mountains had the clouds moving overhead with the sun attempting to squeeze through. Fortuntately I didn't need to get too close to the cold mountains ... the 100-400mm was useful 20 km away!

It has been an odd winter ... hit +9C (48F) in January and in February we've had more days above freezing than below freezing. The snow base is very light.
