This is the second concert I shot in three days and the second concert I've shot ever. I'm still getting the hang of it. Shot at 1/50s or 1/60s @ ISO 6400 on shutter priority. I probably need to increase the shutter speed and drop the ISO a bit and rely more on post to pull some details... hopefully I'll get another chance before I do the Anthrax gig in April :)

I like the photos! good composition, decent lighting. I saw these guys live a few years ago when they toured with Arch Enemy, they put on a good show!

Why would you want to do that? (increase SS and drop ISO)

These look quite okay.

Side note: I never shoot Tv, since IMO, a change in aperture (DoF) has more effect on the image then a change in shutterspeed (assuming you're avoiding motion blur).

I always use Av or M.

for shooting a show like this, drop the ISO to not allow the oversaturation of the colored light, faster shutter to stop motion blur. I took over 500 pics and only about 30 turned out okay. Most of them were too blurry to make out and the color from the lights destroyed details.
