no it's a great value anyways...but if you like to complain about it's inability to focus...there's a fix for it

look if you can show me any other lens that goes to faster than f2.8, with any sort of AF for under $150, i'd think that was a pretty good deal as well...

Sorry if it's anything like the 50mm 1.8 , I'll pass and save my money for a real lens . Something that is at least , built as good as some of the kids toys , and works as good as them

I skipped the 50 1.8 and I'm happy that I did

I'm glad I still have (and use) my 50 1.8 but it's been over a week since the OP checked out. She either has a flash or the 50mm or both or maybe somebody talked her out of it
