I bought my lens in October 2012, and love it. I just noticed that there are two tiny, pin head sized, imperfections on the coating of the front glass. Does anyone else have this on there lens? Do you think I should send it back to Sigma for repair or replacement? I don't notice any affect on pictures from this. Thanks.

I was going to remind you about this thread, glad you found it!

Believe me, I found this before I bought. Needless to say, everyone's shots convinced me to hit the buy button.

I imagine it will only effect resale.. A person may not want a blemish as such, even if it might not effect the IQ..

Don't do it. You might get it back in worse condition (post office, accident, etc).

My Sigma 10-20 died two weeks ago after it fell three feet onto spongy carpet (AF mechanism). I ordered another one.

Picked up the lens and flash from the post office this morning. Pretty excited.

Obligatory test shots to see how wide this thing is. I gotta get used to this thing.

Btw, I was cleaning my room when I took these two shots. Haha

If you're like me, I'm still having to get used to the perspective change with a UWA. Your second shot is a good example. Enjoy the lens, and hang some pictures on your wall, after you're finished cleaning... :D

A few shots from the new Siggy. I must say I am very pleased with it -- very good first impressions. Just gotta get used to it really.

And one self-shot messing with the distortion.

Thought that I recognised your photos Tim. I saw them on DPReview and put a comment there the other day. Cool series. Post more when you get the chance:)
