Like the title says, I'm considering selling my 24-70 and going for a Tokina 16-28 (plus a little cash from the 24-70). The 24-70 is a great lens especially for my reportage work but working on a 1.3x crop, having a wide angle is quite beneficial. I have considered the 16-35 but looking at the Tokina, not only will I be saving some money but the IQ from the Tokina looks quite superb. I wouldn't know though if it is comparable to the Canon. Already considering that I will be loosing the zoom range from 28-70 and the bulb front element, is the Tokina a worthy change?
Thank you!
