Haven't had any issues with mine whatsoever.
AF is silent, fast, and accurate.

Tested two Sigma lenses in shop, both failed with autofocus on different bodies.

Fact.

Fact.

I've owned 3 sigmas and tested 6 more, all worked perfectly on different bodies.

Fact.

The only lens I've had to send back to manufacturer for a defect/problem was a Canon.

Fact.

Mine died on my 70 to 200 L last March. So much for that theory and the lens was not that old.

photosurgeon, you've made your point, you don't like sigma lenses. Many of us have had the opposite experience. The only lenses that have worked flawlessly for me are sigma lenses. The only lenses I've had issues with are canons and tamrons.

canon has issues with QC too.

Sigma lenses are great. There just not made by Canon.
