I had a little too much beer last night and dropped one of my lenses.
This put me in a bad mood.

Yes, I dropped my Sigma lens.

But I still think it should have worked after I dropped it.

No hard feelings to all those people who have bought Sigma.

1Ds (Killed by bird crap), 5d2 (never to be taken apart!), 300d IR (fianlly put it back together), 35L, 40mm pancake, 85mm 1.8, Tamwrong 28-75 2.8 (really good lens!) and a load of spare parts!

He still finds a way to turn an apology into a slight against Sigma,

Did you drop it from the second floor? I dropped a 135L from waist high onto a basketball court. The time between it leaving my hand and actually bouncing off the floor was an eternity. It suffered NO, as in abolutely NONE, damage. It didn't get a scratch, and it worked as good as new. I wouldn't make a habit out of dropping lenses, however.

Dropping them may actually make them work better.

Lol I swear my 24-105 is sharper since I dropped mine, and it was an excellent copy before too

Thanks for the warning, I was about to buy a Sigma 35mm but thanks to you I didn't.
