Nice shot. I'm particularly interested since it was shot with the 10-22. Was this an HDR PP? (HDR is great when you can't tell if it's HDR or not)

Hi Hinson, thank you :)
No, it is not HDR. I added the Shadows to +50 in Lightroom and also added Vibrant with +50 and Clarity +25. Sharpening to 35 and Noise Reduction to 30. Profile Camera Landscape.
I should have dealt with the color fringing but forgot to do so before uploaded to Flickr.

Haven't been on here in a long time but some recent HDR shots from the weekend. A some of my slot car track.

Hi, relatively new 60D owner here, wondering what people set as max ISO usually.

Since noise reduction software (external link) has been invented and is available for purchase and use, that is no longer a concern.

Domed ceiling at the Church of All Nations, Jerusalem. Handheld, Canon 10-22, 1/13, f/3.5, ISO 6400, pressing the limit of what the equipment can do. Noise reduction and levels adjustment in LR4.

I can't wait to join the ranks of the 60D owners. Have been shooting a T3 for the past year. Picking up a well-cared for 60D from a friend since he upgraded.

This might be my very first post here... I'm not sure, but I've had my 60D for about a year and a half now, and have checked in here from time to time admiring all the great work. It's good for me to see the fact that this body "can" produce great shots, but I'm still having to shoot with the 18-135 kit lens, and have just never gotten real excited with it. If things turn around for me, hopefully I can invest in some sharper glass. Until then I'll continue to work on learning the camera's system, and overcoming my own short-comings.
Keep up the good work guys!

-Roger

I guess I have a few "not so bad" pics.

Your "proof" looks like it is from a 28-135. My 18-135 kit lens just isn't all that great, IMO. Or, maybe I just got a bad copy. I really don't know. I didn't come here to bad mouth my lens, but I'm just saying I think I might be happier with the results from something else. Not necessarily more expensive, but like maybe a faster prime lens with greater clarity.

I'm sorry, I posted the wrong link. But all the same, you can get great results with the 18-135. The 18-135 thread has some great images.

This is what happens if it's one's first time and probably the only opportunity one can have to visit a great city but it's gloomy, overcast, and raining #BW and #HDR
