I'm about a hundred miles north of Omaha. I won't be down there until next week though.

My sister, the professional baker and cake decorator once told me that my camera takes great pics. My reply was that I thought her oven baked great cakes.

What kind of food do you like? Without that knowledge it's kind of difficult to answer.

Lo Sole Mio - Best Italian in the world (Well, at least in Omaha)

Rivera's - Best Mexican in Omaha

Canton House - Maybe best Chinese in Omaha (You can get dim sum. Very few places in Omaha you can.)

Of course others are now going to argue their favorite places

Well, I guess we will never know what kind of food fiveFPS likes.
Or if he/she found some good food.
Or if he/she got together with anyone for a "quick shoot".

Thanks for the reply! I ended up going to Brew Burgers because the food network guy went there. I didn't get to see this in time and had already headed home. I'll have to visit Omaha again someday as well as Lincoln.

BTW how was the snow storm?

Ron I'm going to have to try that Dim Sum spot next time.. Nice landscape and Equine images!!!

Hi, resurrecting this thread again to see if anyone in the Omaha area has Calumet Travelite or Calumet Gensis or Elinchrom strobes. I have some octoboxes that someone can just have, but I don't want to ship it.

Being transferred to Omaha (again). I get out and they send me back. Ugh!

So really classy post dhornick. You're telling the people where you are moving to that moving back there is making you go "Ugh".

Sorry, didn’t mean to make it sound as though I'm not excited about moving back to Omaha but more so I'm just tired of moving in general. My apologies. My youngest daughter was born in Omaha and I think there’s not many better places to raise kids.
