I have seen the feature available, but I have not used it yet. I sent you a PM.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

hate to misdirect, but a 45% price difference? Was your item used? Amazon fulfilled? I don't know that I'd trust that to be honest..

Must've been fulfilled through Amazon by Honest Eddie's Pretty Good Used Clickers and Clunkers. I've never seen Adorama be that far off of a legitimate price.

Haha lol, no, direct from Amazon, not from a third party, and I have already received it and used it too :) And no it wasn't used, it was brand new. If I'm not mistaken B&H had the same price as Amazon before their stock ran out too ....
So, this chat, is it more for orders and customer service, or more of a tech service for people that want to ask specific questions about an item?

Tech service...Everyone is a professional photographer, and knows gear pretty well, of course no one person can know every piece of gear out there so we do have to do a lot of in chat research and jumping around. But we have a lot of resources to help us get you the answer you need...

Now that I do have a question, though, I can't find an expert. Perhaps it is because I do most of my browsing in the evenings. And I guess yesterday and today were the weekend, so...

Because Adorama is owned by an Orthodox Jewish family we are not allowed to work the chat from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday for Sabbath, we are also not on during any Jewish holiday. Also there is usually only 2-3 people on at a time taking chats unless its a very heavy traffic day, then the system will alert others to come in and help staff the chat.

Whatever you do, please do not email them regarding any inquiries. They claimed it's the fastest method to contact them, but it took them over a week to respond to a simple email.

I was looking for a chat contact on Adorama just a couple of days ago, I wanted to get in touch with them to see if they'd price match Amazon but turns out the only way to get in touch with them (quickly) was calling. I called and no love on the price match so Amazon got my money

If you are in this position in future, please email me directly: Helen@adorama.com (external link)

It's unusual for me not to respond within 24 hours

Please accept my apologies; I've noted a few complaints like yours recently, but need some more data to establish whether this is due to the time of day of enquiries, a system issue - or something else.

Could I trouble you to email me with more info re the time and date that you sent your email? : Helen@adorama.com (external link)

Oh, and any time you need advice or support with anything from Adorama, please do contact me directly.

Where will I find the option to chat with an expert? I've been looking for it (I want to use it) but I can't find it. I understand there might not be anyone to chat with which is why I probably can't find the option. But where will it be located when available?

Will do thanks! I almost did but I figured since it was such a large price difference and the person on the phone told me you only had 2 left in stock anyway and didn't want/need to price match I figured I'd save your time and order it from Amazon instead (with free 2 day with my Prime membership) I really wanted to get it from Adorama to take advantage of the Adorama VIP though :p
