A year ago, the only camera that I had was a kodak easyshare P&S. I went to NYC, took some pictures, and I said to myself, "Julian, buy yourself a good camera". I bought a T3 with the kit lens and a crappy 75-300. Now, I have three flashes (430 EXII, 550 EX, YN-560 MKII), a T3i, nifty fifty, nifty two-fifty, a crappy 28-80 and a 28-135. Even some of my co-workers are envious of my cameras, they all want mine!

50D, T3 (still in the family, but given to my sister), T3i 18-55mm IS II, 50mm 1.8 II, 55-250mm IS II, 75-300mm III, 28-135mm IS USM. 430 EX II, 550 EX, YN-560 II

A year ago I had everything that's in my sig except the Olympus m4/3 gear which I'm really enjoying using but I think a 6D is not too far away also.

Hmm, a year ago I was shooting with a 7d/5dmark2 combo and with the 70-300L and 24-105L.
now I'm on the 1dmark4/5d mark3 combo with the 70-200 2.8 II L and 24-70 2.8 L.

I guess you can say it's been a great year for me

One year ago:
5Dc
24-105L

Now:
5DII
17-40L
24-105L
70-200L f/4
40mm Pancake
RRS Ballhead
RRS Pano Elements kit
RRS L bracket
iOptron Skytracker
B+W 10-stop ND filter

I basically had to sell all of my photography equipment when I was laid off back in 2008. I briefly exited the photography hobby and only kept my 5Dc and 24-105L in case things would look up for me again. Fast forward about 6 months ago when I got an email from Canon about the 5DIII. I always lusted after the 5DII, so I waited a little and saw that 5DII prices were dropping. I finally snagged a brand new body, sold my 5Dc, and started rebuilding my lens and accessories lineup. Pretty much everything that I have currenty, I owned previously, so it definitely feels good to have all my equipment back.

My list of camera gear is below and the only thing I have added in the last year was the Powershot SX150.
Why that camera? Got a job an hour plus away from home and don't like leaving all (or any) of my gear in the car all day so I bought a little pocket camera just for fun. Nice little camera but it ain't no 5DMKII or 7D!

TS-E 24 f/3.5 L, 28-135 IS (x2), 50 f/1.8, 85 f/1.8 550EX, 430EX
