Here are some new shots, really loving this camera to bits.

What most reviewers are hating on is the lack of autofocus points, and to be honest, its not like it makes a big difference with 11 or 51 that nikon has (i believe that is the correct number on the D600), since they are all centralized anyways. Just my 2 cents.

Pictures can be found here as well on my 500px account! (external link)

New to the forums so first off, hello everyone!

Just sold my 550D after having it for a year to learn a little more about photography and now bought the 6D, using it with the nifty fifty till i get some more money for lenses.

Here are a few shots i took this morning:

Pretty green eyed lady there. See you 6D is producing great results for you! Love mine also.

I came to compliment your 2nd photo especially and happened to see your comment above. That location looks amazing for an engagement shoot. Super composition. I disagree about the centralized focus points on the D600, though. The correct number is 39 (51 on the d800). Although they don't cover the entire frame, I've found that it works great for rule of thirds type shots. I rarely ever want to focus on something closer to the edge of a frame. But even if I did, I could just focus and recompose a little.

What I dislike about having only one fast and reliable AF point in the center is that I found myself missing focus when focusing and recomposing quite a bit. Even at f/2.8..... Maybe I was doing something wrong, but even 5D2 users say they can really only rely on the center point..

This is just a friendly FYI post :) I quite envy the -3EV sensitive central point on the 6D, wifi control app, and the SUPER CHEAP and readily available great used lenses that Canon users enjoy. I don't know what Nikon shooters are smoking with the prices of old D series lenses.. The D600 + f/1.8 lens seems worse at autofocus in low low light than even my Rebel T1i's center dot point when paired with a f/1.4 lens.

Nice shots Dubadai, thinking about making the move from 550D to 6D myself.

I might have to wait a little while longer though as I just ordered a 21.5" imac, my wife will go nuts if I get the 6D anytime soon, I only bought the E-M5 few months ago so think I should cool off for a few weeks at least ;)
