Been a fair while since I posted here, so here we go.

Cruised on out to the Test Day at SMP aka EC. It was the first time that all the new COFT "Car of the Future" cars had been on track at once, with Holden sporting their new VF Commodore styling, Ford continuing with the FG Falcon, and also the new adition of Nissan with the Altima & Mercedes with their new model. Both new cars will start selling the road cars within the next year.

After the off season and hype for the new season it was great to see how the 2D artist impressions and media launch images showed and if peoples impressions changed once seeing the new liveries on the actual cars on track.

Right when the grid walk was on it started to rain a fair bit. Which got heavier later, on which made some interesting moments for some drivers on slicks.

C&C Welcome. Shot on 1D MK2N, 300mm F/2.8 with 1.4 Extender & 24-105.
Did try a slightly different edit style with a abit of split toning as it was an overcast day.

Nice set, and the PP kind of suits it.

Have you considered cropping/cloning the tyre wall out of number 6?

2 looks like the result of a massive burnout.

1 and 8 for me.

Good panning. I wish I had an opportunity to practice panning at Clipsal
