Would love to get some CC.

These are the better of my shots and even they appear soft. Some NR done w/ trial version of Noiseware. They were soft before that tho and the NR only softened them a tad more than they were but was worth it I thought.

I just moved from a T1i to a 7D. I dont' know if I'm having to get use to the AF or what.

blarsonjr: Looks like it just needs a small touch of sharpening... and perhaps a slightly higher color contrast.

Here's a game I just shot tonight. State Finals held in the local civic center, so the lighting was much better than anywhere else I had a chance to shoot at this year (which really isn't saying much). It's amazing what even a stop or two can do to your in-focus hit percentage. I had some many nice shots I had a hard time weeding down the ones to send on into the paper!

All shots 1/800, f2.8, ISO 3200 on 5d3. CC welcome.

+1 !

Two great lens !

I use 28/1.8, 85/1.8, and 200/2.8 - and I have been worried about moving away from primes for BB due to possible slow focusing ... but your shots demonstrate that the 2.8 L zooms focus fast beautifully !!

Thanks for this series.

Washington (ranked #2) played Martinsburg (ranked #1) Friday night in the Sectional Championship game. It was a great game with Martinsburg winning by 6. Here are some shots from the game.

Very good series from both Strouty and Mr. Wilt!

The 5D3 and 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II is a great combo for basketball.

Nice picture guys. I'm shooting my first game today and was wondering about focusing. When shooting people you want the focus dot on the eyes and recompose. Players mve to quick for that. Lol. Sorry for the rookie question.
