BEWARE - When it shows a price and then under the price it shows that it's free for Prime members IT IS ONLY FREE for prime members that have an actual Kindle device. If you are like me and read them on you PC then it is not free even if you are a Prime member.

All of the books listed are or were free. Some are only free for a day so you have to constantly be checking this thread or the Amazon kindle store to track them down. The way I do is to use the keyword photography on the Amazon.com Kindle store page.

http://www.amazon.com …hoto%2Cdigital-text%2C184 (external link)

I would then change the " Sort By " option to " Price: Low to High ". I check every morning & there are usually two books that are free for the day. In most cases, they'll go back to requiring payment the next day.

One other note, if you were ever charged (accidentally or other-wise) for a Kindle book and don't like it. You can return it within 7 days and get a full refund. I've done this twice now.

Returning Kindle Books
Books you purchase from the Kindle Store are eligible for return and refund if we receive your request within seven days of the date of purchase. Once a refund is issued, you'll no longer have access to the book. To request a refund and return content, visit Manage Your Kindle, Click the Actions button next to the title you'd like to return, and select Return for refund, or contact customer service.

See this LINK (external link) for more info.

Thanks LL for the updates lately.

I once thought I was clicking Buy, for a free book, and was charged $5.99. I returned it after noticing the charge, and received a refund without question. Lesson - look before you click!

Outdoor Photography of Japan: Through the Seasons [Kindle Edition]

A Book of Photos taken in eastern and northern Japan through the four seasons of the year. Daniel has been living in Japan for over 10 years and he and Kazuya have known each other for about 9 of those years. They have been traveling around together and doing photography in northern and eastern Japan and exhibiting their work on their respective websites. Friends have been encouraging them to prepare a book of their photos so that the world can see them. They have finally gotten around to doing just that. This book highlights approximately 430 of their photos. The photos range from astounding mountain scenery taken through the seasons to close-up photos of flowers - also through the seasons. If you wonder what Japan has to offer the traveler or tourist this book will give you some hints and clues as to what you might be able to see if you travel to Japan in any of the four seasons. This book will take you as far north as you can go on Hokkaido, the Northern Island, as well as to Akita, Aomori, Fukushima, Gifu, Gunma, Kanagawa, Nagano, Niigata, Saitama, Shizuoka, Tochigi, Toyama, Yamagata and Yamanashi Prefectures in Japan.
