Very Nice tewlman. Decaying cars are wonderful.

If it isn't rusty, ancient or wrecky, (RAW) why bother?. ha ha

@tewlman and BobsYourUncle

Cars/Trucks and trucks always have been a guys thing so that has something to do with I think. Rusty, Ancient and Wrecky cars sitting in a field by themselves or like the Dodge pic and many others just look neat as well. Also, finding this stuff isn't that easy for a variety of reasons. I think the searchers for RAW can appreciate a good find when they see one.

I believe pics like the ones in this thread and the abandoned building thread leave people wondering what happend or where did the people go type thing. Pics of modern day things don't arouse that curiousity the same way.

@BYU, LOL, My wife is pretty much the same. Bringing home a few woodticks after spending a day in tall grass doesn't help much either.

LOL! Yeah I wind up with critters and burs and such on me too. Step in the odd cowpie too!
I am drawn to the old iron and buildings too. I stare at them in wonderment, thinking of the story they could tell if they could only talk!
Yes, must be a guy thing.
I am leaving on a 1500 mile trip tomorrow across BC, around Alberta and back home again and will have my G1X beside me, ready for anything I may see in a distant field.

This is a really cool shot. Just love the vintage stuff. Bet it would look even more impressive in HDR.

This tractor resembles a steampunk version of a tractor.
