Jason, another great frog pic!

These below were shot with a 25mm macro tube and hand held. Exif intact.
Top 2 with 70-300L.
Bottom 1 with 40mm pancake.

First test shots with my new baby.
Biggest difference for me is the low light performance where I like to shoot family member/pets etc indoors. Less so outdoors, but I'm still loving the clean look of the 6D images and the ability to pull back more detail in the RAW files than my old 50D. ;-D

Holy nuggets. You folks have convinced me that this needs to be my next camera! I would be moving from a 7 year old Canon 30D. I am loving the current B&H price with the 24-105 "L" lens.

Yes. I've read many times before that new camera gear wont make you take better photos, and that's true in some respects, but this new 6D allows me to do SO much more than I could have done with my old 50D. I am a much happier photographer (with my images), and that to me makes upgrading to this body worth every cent. Love it!
Having said that, I have just SO much to learn about this new camera...

i still suck at taking pictures with my kit, but I'm pretty convinced that i suck less

Seriously though, having a nice kit such as the 6D can make me take better images. Now i can concentrate on composition and the other aspects of photography

Just picked mine up this morning. Seeing how it fairs in the EDM nightlife shortly.

finally, after reading everyday on this thread, got my own this week. So excited, played with it a little and I am completly blown away by the high ISO (came from a 50D).

All my "worries" about this camera turned out to be nothing, this is really the perfect camera for me... really thrilled.

I am mainly a macro shooter, so it will be a long wait until spring when I can start fulling appreciating my new toy! Hopefully I can start contributing to this thread soon.

I wish the 6D's ergonomics did not murder my hand so badly Looks like an exceptional camera in terms of image quality...
