Here's a couple more. I hope to shoot lots more events once the weather warms up.

I love the 6D! Needs no noise reduction at ISO 3200 if properly exposed.

WOW! I love the color and saturation on this shot. Was there much PP?

So it figures that the weekend I buy my 6D is the same weekend my mac book cable takes a dump :( Anyway, here are some SOOC JPEG's I took tonight and transfered directly to my Flickr thanks to the 6D's WiFi, all this done through my phone... I'm in love!

EDIT: I went back and replaced these files with edited shots, so these are no longer SOOC, though pretty close.

First 2 shots were with one 35w ceiling light above a window

I use lightroom4 for my PP. my usual adjustments are contrast and clarity. Nothing crazy, usually 10-20 on the slider. I do up to 10 on the vibrance (I think). Highlights and shadows when needed. Didn't really have to add much colors here. All those cars have insane paint jobs.

I just got this camera to replace one of my two 5d mark ii's (still have the other to daul wield at weddings). I am floored by how much better it is. The largest improvement is in video mode, where iso 12800 video is plenty clean to use. The noise is lower across the entire ISO range for photos, and I would not hesitate to shoot an entire reception at iso 6400. I think I'm in love.

hello all, fantastic shots on here and amazing high ISO performance examples!
I am shooting a 60d and having a rough go of it for indoor sports. I have an 85 f1.8 and I just bought a 70-200 f2.8 and I'm still having some terrible noise in my photos as I'm having to shoot at ISO 6400-12800.
I am considering an upgrade to the 6d but I shoot sports more than anything else and I've heard that the AF is not as good on the 6d. Can any of you show me some fast action, low light shots with this camera to help me sort it all out?
Thanks and keep posting these great photos!

Do yourself a favor and get a 5D3 if shooting sports is your main goal.

Gah!! These images are killing me! I want a 6D so bad and BHPhoto just dropped the price with the 24-105 lens to $2329 from $2399. I think this will be as low as this combo goes!

Eventhough you have some big aperture lenses mounted on the 60D, I would offer that you are not going to escape the noise issue (to acceptable levels anyway) with the sensor in the 60D.

I shoot a LOT of sports with my 7D and almost never shoot above ISO 1600 just because of noise. Kinda sucks, really. No lens I mount on the 7D, or perhaps your 60D, is going to "eliminate" noise from the sensor. Even with a fast lens and a lower ISO.

I think the 7D and 60D share the same sensor? So perhaps we are both limited by available light regardless of whatever glass we put on them. Besides, in sports, shooting at big apertures can be tricky 'cause of a shallow focal plane.

I think the big leap in IQ comes in the form of moving from APS-C to FF.
FF sensors just collect sooo much more light and thus shoot at lower ISO....the reason I am considering a jump to a 6D or 5D3.

I've shot with both the 6D and 5D3 and the focus system on the 5D3 is nothing short of magic for sports with it's higher FPS. That said, I watched noted tennis photographer Chris Nicholson on YouTube say he rarely shoots bursts anyway. The 6D is perfectly capable (you could always trap focus?), but I would offer that the 5D3 will yeild a much higher percentage of useable shots for sports.

Just my 2 cents worth and good luck.
