Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

Yes and no. When I took that shot I knew I'd have to flip it around for the thumb.

Awesome light, great use of the vignette to isolate the subjects, wonderful colors. Only thing I would've preferred is if their eyes were open.

Thank you for the wonderful words, I decided to create the frame with their eyes closed because they are praying.

I don't ever have that problem... if anything, facebook or POTN (flickr) makes pics look sharper because they're small sized..

9/10 great pic.

8/10. Definitely looks soft, but I think you shot at too large of an aperture. The grass in front looks sharper than the deer to me, but in my opinion, there is no point in blurring the rest of the background/clouds in this pic. Might as well have shot with small aperture and made everything sharp as the slight blur in the background is distracting. Nice moment and colors, though :)

Also, are you resizing them in Lightroom when you export them? That might have something to do with it, but I think you front focused a little bit in this example above.

Ya I noticed that I definitely front focused. I was at 7.1 and trying to have everything somewhat in focus. Whats the ideal aperture for landscape? I wasn't necessarily in love with this photo but wanted to practice layers in PS. The sky was blown out in the original pic. I just really don't have enough pics to mess with. I need to get out more.

I do resize in LR on export. Is that a no no?

Thanks so much for the tips.

7/10 I love the feel of the picture, I think if highlights are brought down just a tinkle it'd look much better.
