That seems to be the way it always works out and that is why I really clarified that it was not a critique of your images. I've been very fortunate that I've never had to pay the gas for any of my air-to-air shoots so like you said, I guess it ultimately comes down to the guy paying!

The worst case of this I ever had was the photo-target plane pilot decided to invite a 5 year old boy along on the flight. 15 minutes into the flight he melted down and we had to scrub and head back. Never got a chance to do a re-shoot on that either!

Stunning set of shots Jay, really well processed too. IMHO, whilst the passenger would have been less conspicuous with some dark shades on perhaps I think she adds an element to the photos, the way she is looking around in wonder at the miracle of flight and the landscape around her is kind of nice.

Great shots!! Watched it fly into Yuma yesterday with the B29 FiFi . It was great to see. Hope the weather tomorrow is good for some pics.
