You could get your 6D for free soon :).

Yeah, from my experience, with NR turned off, the jpeg from the 6D at 10000 ISO is still better than the jpeg from my T2i at 3200 ISO, or even 1600 ISO. Mainly because the noise is not nearly as intrusive, being white/gray in nature, and not the rainbow of digital noise.

And on a side note, I bought my kit for 2450$ exactly a month ago, then when the price dropped by 50$, B&H refunded me the money (after an email to them).
Yesterday i saw a thread that said that the kit dropped by another 70$ down to 2340$. Emailed them again, just in case :)
Today got an email saying that they only adjust price 30 days after the purchase, and it was 31 days I believe. BUT, a couple hours later, i got another email with an identical receipt as i got on the previous refund, only this receipt was for 70$. So either they decided to go ahead and do the adjustment, or who knows what, but I think i will now be 120$ less from the original purchase price :D
Thats that. Sorry for the ramble.

B&H is pretty good about this.

I'm 40 days into my purchase :(

Yeah, I wish, but the streak has ended, no more price matches.
Still though, if I consider the lens at the full price of about 1000$, the camera comes out at only 1300ish to me. And even if I go for a new(used) lens at like 800$ or so, the camera is still 1500ish.

Ok is it the lenses, the processing, or do the 6D files have a certain "pop" to the colors? I like it whatever it is...

I kinda noticed that too. There's something about them that catches the eye at times.
This, I think, while not particularly a good photo, somehow gave me that "wow" on the color rendition of the 6D.

Taken with the 24-105 @ 24mm, f/4, 1/160, ISO 100.
Unretouched, just pulled into LR4 and published to Flickr

The 6400 is pretty jawdropping too

The color catches my eye because i do a lot of flowers, birds, etc, where i love color rendition (Was a long time fan of Velvia films)

The WiFi app works with Android, iPad, and iPods supporting WiFi as well. It actually works quite well for me. Have used it for low angle and tripod mounted shots. Oddly, I thought it would be nice for taking street shots with the camera just sitting on a table looking like it is idle, but have not done that yet.

i have the same thought as well, but if you are taking street pics along the streetside cafe in certain european / asian countries where the street crime is high - ie snatch n run, it would be better to tie your camera to the chair!

Hate you Alex. Shot looks amazing as well as the processing as usual. I just picked up a 6D as well. Tried messaging you on FB!
