We saw some tracks that have been made from cattle that drink from the pockets.

We sent some pictures to the NG to confirm the tracks and they told us they were probably made when white pocket was formed about 200 million years ago.. Also the Moki stones laying about everywhere was impressive.

I'm headed there in April on a photo workshop. Seeing what you have accomplished in great shots really excites me. Your photography is beautiful.

That's pretty cool...what I was talking about (from cows) were way more worn down and sort of like a smooth rut.

The Moki stones were awesome. My brother wanted to take one home but I freaked him out when I said, "how did that work out for Greg Brady when he went to Hawaii!!!".

Oh maybe I should give mine away ... I found some on the way in . I took abor 1500 pics when we went. I posted some here a couple years ago. I'm certain the place hasn't changed any. Maybe someday we will bump into each other.
You should head to the Bisti next. It's only 37 miles from my House.

Take care and have fun

Just back from a White Pocket 2 day workshop. What an incredible place. Unfortunately, we didn't have any clouds and to much wind. Your photos are fabulous, better than mine. Thanks for sharing them with us.
