My daughter is almost one month old :)

By the way, is there a tutorial on how to properly upload images from Flickr on here?
I think I saw a guide or something on the forum somewhere a long time ago, but can't find it now.
If anybody has a link to one, would be nice :)

Thank you! One of the few reviews where I can actually watch this guy. He did a very nice objective review. I will say that I'm even more confused! He got some great hockey shots and i would think that it would have to work well if it handled hockey.

You weren't the only one that thought that, LOL.

Loving this camera. Amazon dropped the price again so I sent the body back and got the body with the 24-105. $400 for the 24-105 essentially. Couldn't resist. the noise handling at high ISO is really a treat. Makes the 24-105 an even better jack-of-all-trades.

I just did the same thing but from Best Buy! I'm anxiously waiting for next week!

Nice one Dividor! I keep looking for the little twin girls, or the kid on the tricycle to pop out at me!
(Hopefully someone gets that reference so I don't look too foolish)

Another of Chipper in his favorite spot... I don't think this has been posted here yet. F/2.5 with the 35mm and this is huge crop... I didn't want to get too close and make him jump out of there.

Quick question before I go digging through this thread... Anybody found a good aftermarket battery and grip for the 6D? I currently have a Meike grip and Phottix batteries for my 60D and had little trouble. One of the two Phottix batteries I have had for quite a while has just died and won't recognize at all anymore so I thought I'd ask what you guys are using. My $50 Meike grip on the 60D has held up very well, might stick with that brand for the 6D as well.

Hey 3D, i was thinking about perhaps purchasing an off brand grip, but was reminded of a bad previous experience with one that drained my batteries, wouldn't recognize the grip until i finally said, when it comes to grips and the like, canon all the way.

I hear you cost is a factor and seeing as the 6D is relatively new, no one is really selling the grip on the used market just yet. However I did find a deal from a site called Unique Photo for 30 bucks cheaper than b& H and adorama. I am not sure of the rules here about posting outside links, but if you google unique photo you can pick up a grip for 220 with no tax & free shipping (unless u are in jersey)

Hope this helps :D

Lack of a gazillion focus points be damned!

Judging from the images here, the 6D is one helluva camera.

-you guys are gonna go make my buy one-

LOL..that's what I told a friend the other day..I said well I guess the 5D II was crap then because it had less focus points than the darn 6D...her face went to

Some people just don't need all the bells and whistles :)

this thing is a work of art
