Question, are you using a Canon mounted 85mm? I'm just impatiently waiting for Rokinon to make this and the 35mm for the X-mount.

Lol very nice^^^ has anybody rokinon lens aperture gotten stuck how does that happen been reading a lot of bull on that I own the 35 so I want to make sure if I get this lens and the 8mm that doesn't happen...

The IQ on these lenses is spectacular why buy any thing else.

No idea. Construction is good, but it's not a Nikkor AI-s. I can see the spring loaded aperture ring assembly (There's a little ball and spring that "click" into place) jamming up if abused. But apart from that I don't really know.

I use the Cine version so it's just a smooth aperture ring.

^^ true that when it comes to build quality there nothing like the ais line of lenses I would get the 85 1.4 ais to use on my t3i but its pretty expensive like 700-800$ for a mint used copy.. The Nikon ais lenses are great

I would beg to differ. The Nikon AI-S lenses have great build quality, but optically they are 40 year old designs and it shows. These Samyang lenses blow them away when it comes to image quality.
