The only thing stopping me from going with that system is the need to use their plates. I like my L plate.

I also like my L plate, but for the circumstances I plan to use the Capture Clip I won't require the L plate. Sure, I'll have to go through the "hassle" of switching plates, but it's trivial to me.

But that could all be fixed if I can get my hands on a Cinch mkII soon. :D

Just looked at the peake system and its pretty clever how you can clip the camera on the strap of your back pack etc.

ditto...when I was researching. I too was looking at that one and other brands.
In the end, it is what you plan to do with your camera and how you want to hold it (with minimal obstruction to other things on and around you) and grab it and handle it.
For me and others here, the CINCH was the best design.

The Cinch is without doubt the best strap I've ever come across and will be buying one soon as they become available however, I can't also see use for the peake clip when I'm out with my back-pack on.

Deciding between this and the Peak Design Camera Capture Clip system...and will be biting the bullet on the Capture Clip soon if this doesn't come out (no, this is not a threat lol just saying I need something besides my OpTech neck and wrist straps).

Enjoy that.....camera body alone would be a PITA on a belt let alone with any half decent lens.

I just tried my buddy's Capture Clip last night. 5D2 with 35L, 50L, and 24-70L. Hopefully at least one of those lenses are half decent, but maybe not because it wasn't a PITA on a belt.

Anyway, I didn't mean to throw this thread off track and start a Cinch vs. Capture Clip flame war. I have every intention of buying a Cinch mkII when it is finally released.

Then try contacting them directly. POTN isn't their support forum, or their new product information site. Greg's aware of this.

They're expecting to take orders again in 2-3 weeks. Status was updated on their website a few days ago.
