Got there late in the afternoon and were only given an hour to shoot. Could've spend a day. The guide who worked there said the good thing was we were visiting at his favorite time of the day and year for the colors. Said we wouldn't be getting any light shafts but we'll still be happy. He was right, the colors were stunning...magenta, purple, pink, peach, etc.

C&C welcomed!

Beautiful lighting and color gradation. Gotta get there some day. There are so many beautiful places in the world, my list keeps growing.

Way to go. I'm not sure there is a bad time to be there, as long as there's no rain around. There seems to be good color all the time, just different depending on time of day or year. Well done.

These are great. I've got to go back when it's the off season. The place is a worse than Disneyland when those light shafts are in season.

Great shots! You did well, for only having an hour to shoot. It's one of my favorite places. I've been there 6 times now, and always find something new. As Stan said, it changes with time of year, and time of day.
