The sky was so nice working doing pruning service today, I started shooting yard art. On the way home, on a whim, stopped by the local Harley Davidson shop to see if there may be any willing for a photo with their bike. Happens one sales guy does photography, so that was cool. Then leaving, a DJ recently moved to Oregon from So Cal, pulls in ... so my first go at a bike shoot.

Just printed them to see how they look in hard copy, and the color one came out especially nice.

I should hang out more often at the Harley Davidson dealership and meet a few more riders.

Did you use your Tokina for these shots? How well does it work on a full frame camera?

Nice shots also.

Oh .... forgot to update my signature ... changing right after I post this ...

Used my Tokina, but the 16-28mm on my 5D Mk II, because I just sold the 11 - 16mm. Not because I didn't like it, but because I wanted the FF to have the full range of zoom.

But I like both lenses near equal, and if anything, with the new lens were lighter like the 11-16mm. At near 2 lbs., the extra weight can't be missed.

But the 11-16mm took some wonderful photos on the 5D Mk II at 16mm and almost to 15mm. I almost could have stuck with that compromise.
