I ended up buying both the black with tan and khaki with tan and will return whichever I like less.

The one that was depicted with black and tan is a nice color to appear coordinated with black, brown, jeans, dressy and not dressy.

Watch out. Maybe you might find that they both stay.... ;)

haha, unlikely that I will keep both (since they are both the same size). But I am aware that I may end up getting the Pro in addition to the Small. :)

I will likely keep the black/tan version.

I did, and found nothing. I'm not a master Googler. :( But thanks, those helped!

May I ask how tall you are? I'm 5'6" and 145lbs. I think the Small should be fine for me.

I'm 5'7 140. so we about same size. lol

There's a difference between fit and accessibility.

I like going a step up in size so that I can grab hold of the equipment inside and also maintain an empty slot to facilitate lens changes while standing and wearing the bag. Lens swaps are what having them with you is all about, isn't it? Or is it nice to take the lens family out for fresh air and then take them all home again.... ;)

bw!

Great advice!

Hello guys,

I am completely new here. But found this thread and had some questions. I have a old Grafea leather bag. It will fit my gear, but I cannot fit my computer. I am now looking at a Billingham Hadley pro. I know some have a macbook pro 13" in their bag in the back. But I have much more gear compared to the photos I have seen.

I carry a Canon 6d with a 24-105L on. Also I have Canon 8-15mm L fisheye, Canon 100mm L Macro, Canon 580 EX II and Canon ST-E3-RT. I know these things fir into my Grafea (smaller compared to the Hadley Pro). My thoughts was to have my flash in one of the outside pockets. Do you think I could fit my 11" Macbook air in the bag as well? Behind the padded incert that is? If anyone have any thoughts, please let me know.

Also I was thinking of having my charger in a side pocket (AVEA 3 I think theya re called). It is the same size of charger as for the canon 5D. Dose anyone know if a AVEA 3 will fit the battery charger?

Thanks for your time :)

//Kris

Canon 6D, 24-105 f/4 IS L => Might get replaced by a 24-70 f/2.8 Mk II L, 8-15mm f/4 fisheye L, 50mm f/1.2 L, Speedlite 600et-rt, Speedlite ST-E3-RT

Here's a pic from a couple pages back. It might be helpful. Charger will not fit in the Avea 3.

Thanks for your quick answer. Too bad the charger dose not fit though :/ Can one use AVEA 5 on the sides? Or will it look just wrong? :P

By the way, I took the measurments of my charger its W70 D35 H94mm
while the AVEA 3 is W80 x D40 x H150mm. However, that is extrenal measurments. But it is a bit soft I guess? It would be so good to be able to fit it in a side pocket :)

If the 6D charger is anything like the 5DmkIII charger.
Canon LC-E6E Charger in an Avea 3 Pouch. Extremely tight but it will just fit.

Just got my Hadley Smalls and boy are they SMALL! I may be returning them for the Pro.

Even with the pictures I requested, it was difficult (for me) to appreciate the size of the Small.

To me, extremely tight = it doesn't fit. If it's a hassle in or out, go to the next larger size. True in camera bags and prophylactics. :lol: The Avea is usually not held in one hand while the other stuffs it. It's usually affixed to your bag with snaps. Stuffing it then will cause un-snapping and just be generally a hassle.

Pro is larger, yes, and it has a handle. I linked to a pic of it filled with gear; the page with the pics is probably a few pages back.
