Looks to me like a canon 400 f2.8, 2x 300 f2.8 and a Nikon prime of some sort.

Wow, the guy in pic #3 has a Rebel attached to a 400mm 2.8 IS II! Must have blown his whole budget on that lens...

Guy in pic #1 has two 7Ds with grips, not sure about lenses, probably 300mm as D-Pearce said.

Pic #4 has a 1-series body with the original 400mm 2.8

Nikon dude's camera is gripped, so it's most likely a D700, again with some variant of 400mm prime, but I don't really know.

I acquired an expensive camera so I can hang out in forums, annoy wedding photographers during formals and look down on P&S users... all the while telling people it's the photographer, not the camera.

Not quite, but close:

Pic #4 is a 500mm f/4 IS.

Pic #1 is a 300mm f/2.8 IS on the held camera, and a 70-200 f/2.8 (non-IS) on the camera over the shoulder.

Ah, of course, the 500mm. Ok looks like everything is in place now. There should be a "guess that camera" thread.

Doesn't change a thing. Historically, these modern US GPs have been the poorest in terms of attendance and competition. Anyone recall the US GP at Indy a few years back?

I'll attend about half of the 2013 F1 circuit this year, including the Canadian GP. But they could offer to pay my expenses at the "Circuit" and I'd still decline.

Do your research...the attendence at Indy was better than most of the F1 tracks on the calendar (80k-100k on race day even in the last year). They just have a lot more seats there than other tracks. If you go to half the races, you should know that.

And...luckilly for everyone else, the media, fans, and drivers seem to disagree with you 100% on the Circuit of the Americas.
