Speaking of appearances, when the hell did it become okay for adults to wear pajamas out in public? I'm talking about the late thirties to the mid forties crowd. Everytime I see one of those idiots I just want to slap the s**t out of them.

Is it just me?

Christian.

I wore pajamas to class in college.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

College kids get a pass, most of the people I knew when I was in the general college age bracket got tossed for to much partying and not enough studying.

Once your done with it and one expects to be treated as an adult they need to act the part. I've seen it that a lot in supermarkets(mainly)/convenience stores/movie theaters/malls.

If your out with your kid and they're wearing jeans and your wearing your jammies there's an issue.

Call me old fashioned.

only in the US do you get people going about in the pjs. What a bunch of tossers.

anyhow... lets get another night out sorted, or even a day out.

rest of March is out for me though, any thoughts, ideas and dates? Anything funky happening that we can all pile on Scott's boat for a better view of something going on in the harbour?

About a week ago, I saw a grown woman walking to work with one of those fluffy animal hats with the ears and all. Was strange especially considering the fact that she had a pants suit on. People are just weird.

That's beyond heartbreaking! It's 21st century and the united resources of UN cannot provide these people with basic homes!
And those lovely kids - the girls from the first one had their best dresses on for the American photographer - they live in a dumpy tent but still they managed to look nice and clean and ironed! Talk about dignity!

They didn't have them on for me. People here dress amazing. School uniforms etc. You could pull any of them out of this environment and throw them on a Boston street, and we would look underdressed next to them.

It's also amazing how everyone still smiles. How can they? Humanity at it's purest here.

Scott, a killer shot would be to have each family member looking through an individual window of the helicopter.... great coverage so far man!

Scott - Are what people wearing what have been donated to him as part of disaster recovery? Just curious. Glad to see that donations and such make it into their hands and families.

Not long after college, I was still wearing pajama bottoms to the grocery store. I'd do it today, but I can't say when the last time I did that was. My wife wouldn't like me doing it. Oh, but quick runs to CVS... certainly do it pretty often, still.

the marathon is coming in april, as well as opening day. something i think im going to hit up this year (used to go all the time as a kid) is the revolution re-enactment in concord/lexington. patriots day (april 15th) early in the AM. re-enactment usually followed by a parade through concord. lots of great street photography opportunity, and sometimes there's protestors as well.

run of the charles is april 28th...swan boats april 14th, MFA has "art in bloom" on april 28th, cherry blossoms and such...

anyone ever gone to the cyberarts festival? sounds interesting...like it would be pretty pertinent to photography.

All my life i wanted to get out of South Boston, and i did. But never did i imagine the rest of the world would want in.... go figure.

Can't even afford a single family detached home in my own damned neighborhood. Sad.
