This is one of the first landscape photos I ever took. I believe with an old cheap Sigma 28-105 on my 30D. It was my first trip to the Chicago Botanical Gardens and made me really fall in love with photography. I also won my first photography competition with it.

I love reading everyone's commentary in this thread. :) It's nice to see what photos mean to the people who make them.

Here's mine - because it's my favorite place in the world. I have soo many memories from here - picking mushrooms, riding bikes, playing hide and seek, catching frogs... :D

This was a lucky shot :p Saw this little guy just chillin' so went inside and grabbed my camera quickly. Luckily I already had the 24-70L mounted. I went down on the ground and started shooting, and it just stood there looking at me lol. I took a lot of shots from almost every angle but I think this one's the best out of all of them.

Crazy Clouds over the skies in Yorkton, Sk. Canada
Shot around 9:00 pm on July 3, 2012

It was amazing - it started off as a Sunset, then turned to this and after blended into 5 different colors and that's when the Lightning began ... after that the whole sky was bright blue ... It was Wild to watch !!!

BUMP ! !

I think they call this 'Comp Stomping'... I saw this photo on the hotel room wall and thought it was awesome, so went and took my own version of it. And someone made it a favorite on Flickr, so that makes it a favorite of mine, too!

I originally took a similar photo on my phone when snapchatting, it was a shot I thought would be pretty cool, but I never expected the photo to turn out so well. I then took out my DSLR and took a similar shot, for some reason I just love this photo.
