Hey guys,

I am about to pull the trigger on a 1D MK III that BHPhotovideo has in its used section rated at an 8+

I have never bought used from them, what are your thoughts? Any tips?

Thanks,

I've bought used and refurbished items from B&H over the years and they are a reliable source. Their condition ratings are usually conservative and they have a liberal return policy if there is any problem after receiving the item. Just check the camera out thoroughly within the time period they allow.

The 8+ lenses I've got from them in the past have been like new. I wouldn't worry.

I was looking at two copies of the same lens. One was rated slightly better than the other. I decided to think about my choice overnight. The next morning both lenses were gone. Don't wait too long indeed.

I agree, their ratings are conservative. I just bought a lens from them last week. I'm very pleased with it.

I placed my order! I did verify through chat that the Serial # was not in the AutoFocus problem range.

The one thing I do not know is the shutter count :(

Oh well super excited to get the body before the racing season starts!

Just waiting for my 400L 5.6 and my 70-300L to arrive as well.
