I haven't. I have only the 30MB/s card and the 95MB/s card. So maybe the 45MB/s cards are fine. I can't say.

Be wary of the Lexar 90MB/s cards. That 90MB/s they advertise is read speed, not write speed.

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, I saw in the link that pdyliacco posted that the Lexar and Sandisk cards in that speed range didn't fare very well. The Transcend actually got the top spot for coming in with a tested write speed of 60MB/s. Those even cost less than the Sony and Lexar. I'm just leery of their reliability.

I've been using Transcend cards for years. Never once had an issue.

Playing around in Chamonix. Tamron 28-75 and AI Servo using the centerpoint (and a bit of cropping in PP).

I don't think it's available yet, both Canon USA and Europe sites say "available soon" and I could not find anything in the Apple App Store.

EDIT: please disregard, the above info is incorrect and I just didn't find the app yet when I posted. Thanks to jocau for pointing me in the right direction.

click share
click Grab the HTML/BBCode
under size make sure you put the dot for BBCode
then copy and paste code.

I had this problem also then I realized that I didn't have the BBCode dotted.

Well, the general opinion seems to be that the AF speed of the Tamron 28-75 is quite bad and I think I agree with that. In One-shot AF mode it takes a bit of time for the AF to lock and while it's normally not a problem for my shooting style I understand it can be for others. Compared to some other lenses I own, like the EF 70-200/4L and the EF-S 15-85 it's noticeably slower.

In AI Servo AF mode I haven't noticed the slow AF and I got a reasonable amount of keepers from the skiing trip where I took the photo above. Most of the times I missed focus I think it was mainly because of AF settings on the 6D (for example it locked on to spraying snow a couple of times).

Apart from the AF speed the lens has quite a bit of vignetting and corner softness when used wide open, but it improves when stopping down. For the money I think it's a decent normal zoom for a FF Canon and at the moment I can't really justify replacing it.

Hi all,
A quick question - when you upload to flickr from Lightroom, do you restrict the size of image or dimensions?

Cheers

Paid a visit to the Reagan Museum/Library in Simi Valley California last weekend and got some pretty good shots of his AirForce One and Motorcade. Exposure was pretty tough on this one. Will see if I can put together a couple of low light interior shots. I really like this camera.
