Looks awesome, I especially like number 3; those 3 people really show the scale of the area!

I intend to go to western usa in may/june this year. Would you think visiting death valley as day trip from Las Vegas is a good idea? And yes, we would be taking a lot of drinking water with us :)

I think Las Vegas is about 2 hours from Death Valley? If so, I would look into visiting DV. DV is so large that everything is at least a 30 minute drive away. Gas is scarce and EXPENSIVE so try and fill up outside the park. I would come in the day and take pictures of the sunset in Mesquite Dunes. Other places to check out are Dante's view, Zabriskie Point, Badwater, Artists Pallet, Devil's Golf Course.

Yes the rocks do move on their own although no one has ever seen them move. Lots of theories being thrown around. The one that I've heard is a combination of high winds, freezing temperatures, and rain turning into ice. My theory... aliens.
