Yeah, it was scary two weeks later when I showed her the photos and she had no recollection of it. There were no symptoms day-of (pupils, memory, balance, etc.). Brain injuries are weird, and scary.

Google "second impact syndrome" and you'll really be scared that you let her continue to play. 6D & 7D mark II - Canon 16-35 f/4 IS L, Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L, Canon 24-105 f/4 L IS, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II L, Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS II, Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM, Canon 85 f/1.8, Canon 100 f/2.8 USM macro, Canon EF 1.4x III

ANY signs of concussion warrant immediate removal from play and a step-wise return to activity and close monitoring. There is no such thing as a "mild concussion" when dealing with youth sports, they're all serious. Glad she's OK. I appreciate it. I am familiar with 2nd impact syndrome, and took myself off the bike for 6 weeks after a concussion. We checked pupils with a light, balance, long and short term memory, etc. and had no signs that anything happened. There honestly were no signs of concussion after the fall, until she didn't remember it weeks later. There's always the possibility that it wasn't a big deal to her too, as she's extremely tough. 1D MkIV | 1D MkIII | 550D w/grip & ML| EF 70-200mm f2.8L| EF 24-105mm f4L IS | Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS | Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC | 430EXii | EF 50mm f1.8
