I'm looking at my Sigma 50 here hoping they don't replace it until I can sell it haha

If you are quick you can sell it as soon as they announce it. I put my 30 1.4 up for sale soon as Sigma announced the Art version, and got a good 2nd hand price (not everybody checks lens news every day). Only drawback is I am without my 30mm prime until the Art version starts shipping.

Canon 7D / 10-22 / 17-55 / 70-200 f2.8L IS II / 100-400L / 100L Macro / Σ 30 f1.4 A / Σ 85 f1.4

How about the one thing that Canon has failed to deliver - a wide angle zoom that is sharp across the frame. (Like the Nikon 14-24.)

It does not have to be 14-24 mm tho. Just wide and razor sharp! I think Sigma could have a real winner with a lens like this.

The " new " Contemporary 17-70 is close. I think it is a great lens, sharp. Tests show it beats or equals the Canon aps-c zooms. Too bad they put it under the Contemporary line. Maybe rename it "Art Contemporary"

120-300 f2.8 (+ 1.4x TC) is pretty close to that and it's already on the list.

I have the 200 F2 abeit not a zoom, can also use a 2x TC. What I meant by super telephotos is the 400mm F2.8, 500mm and 600 F4.

Well if Canon won't release a new 50 1.4 soon, maybe Sigma will get it right. I want one as long as it's got the optics and the AF performance needed.

I wouldn't put it past them to make a 50/1.2... I read a rumor somewhere that Samyang is and if it's as nice as their current lenses I might jump on that one. I'm also with those who said a super nice UWA zoom would be nice :)

I thought that some of the other lens mounts couldn't handle f1.2 lenses. Maybe it's urban legend, but if it's true, Sigma wouldn't want to do that.

Like many others are hoping a new 50 prime would be sweet, which will likely be a 1.4. Would be nice if they priced it between $700-800.

It's an aps-c lens. I want a high quality wide angle zoom for my full frame landscapes.

Sorry

I realized that after I posted. It's an awesome crop lens though.

That's a tall order. They can't gouge customers like Canon and Nikon does. 1.2 vs 1.4 is a big gap in engineering and price.
