Either way, no need for him to be a D about it, gold member or 2000+ posts regardless. Good pictures BTW. Looking forward to contributing to this thread soon as mine should be here tomorrow.

Well, people are who they are; I just think that it's important for us to have a healthy and helpful community. I believe in the whole "iron sharpening iron" concept, so that's all I want from here.

And I look forward to see your images in the future.

^Excellent photos! I really love the feel of your shots :)

I'm going to have to get this lens I think... I'll have to see what I can get for my 35/2 and my telephoto zooms (since I plan on getting a Pentax 135/2.5), maybe that can partially fund it :D

Pretty shots, yes flare can be hard to produce with certain lenses that are that good ;)

SRiX I'm totally the same as you dude, I really struggle to enjoy my lenses because I get so obsessed with the sharpness . All the awesome sharp shots on this thread dont help... Argh paranoia! Dialed +10 into mine

I know what you mean. After conducting more test shots and using the DotTune fine adjustment method mine also requires a +10 adjustment. Not too happy with that but it seems to be working. I need to thoroughly test it at the weekend to make sure it's not displaying signs of focus shifting through different apertures and distance to subject.

I've had a hard time getting flare as well. I'm no expert, but I have shot right into the sun and the lens just seems to control it pretty well.

The lens seems to be doing its job well, but it's your technique and processing that I really admire.
