70-200 F/4 IS - amazing lens for half the price of the 2.8 that I own now.

When I had my Nikon system, it was the 200MM Micro-Nikkor. With my current Canon system, it was the 135L.

I mean as soon as you put it on your camera and started using it, within the first minute.
For me it was the 35L.

85mm f/1.2L ... it enabled paintings of light.

My first DSLR and lens combo changed my life  Jumping from a P&S to a 40D + 28-135 made me jump for joy because I was able to zoom really far in, blur a background out, capture things I had never captured before.

But yeah, the 85L made my jaw drop when I first used it.

I'll jump in.. albeit a little late.

Without doubt the 135 F/2.. which I now ask myself why did I sell it/, well I know..it was to buy the 70-200 2.8II but I want it back!

Jumping in late also. My 85 1.8 was the first lens that blew my socks off......and still does! Now I bought a 200 2.8 L and am positive that when I go out and test it, it will render the same effect. :D

My 70-200 f/2.8 IS. Servo focus and stability were so much better than my 70-200 f/4 I was getting 2-3 times as many keepers from the minute I put it on my camera.

The sharpest lens i ever had a chance to use was a friend`s manual Voigtlander APO Lanthar 125mm f2.5 macro with a Canon mount. I have attempted to bid for one of these on E-bay several times but was never successful. I definitely said " WOW " viewing the results mated with the 5D MKII.
