cool shots! next time try going straight on, or at a little bit of an angle to get some depth

Simply looking for some cheap gear... photography is just a small hobby of mine, just like looking and dreaming!

Unfortunately, I couldn't really do this. He was perched on a small metal cow sculpture that is mounted to one of the uprights of our porch (it came with the house) :). A straight on shot would have been blocked by both the cow and the upright. Maybe next time I'll have a more open shot. I was just surprised by how well he put up with me taking pictures of him. I have more shots where his eyes are looking in different directions as I moved the camera and flash, I thought it was pretty funny. :)

This is where he was set up:

Nice! I've got these little devils all over my old house in Savannah, They're mostly bright green around my house, but I once watched one change from this brown here to a bright, almost fluorescent green.

Great head shot!!

Thanks Mac! We actually have more of the green ones around the house than the brown, this one just happened to be more tolerant of the camera than his green buddies.
