Lol very nice^^^ has anybody rokinon lens aperture gotten stuck how does that happen been reading a lot of bull on that I own the 35 so I want to make sure if I get this lens and the 8mm that doesn't happen...

I had a sticky aperture issue when I had the Rokinon 35mm, but this only happened AFTER I installed the AF confirm chip in it. The first time it happened to me was when I was holding it one handed by the lens instead of holding the camera.

Basically I did not screw back in the lens mount tightly enough and if I bent the lens (or wiggled it fiercely on the camera, my viewfinder would just go dark (to F16). The fix is somewhere on page 50-80 of the Rokinon 35 page. Which is simply unscrewing the mount, opening the blades, and screwing back the mount.

Plus I am bumping this thread :P

Just picked up a Samyang version yesterday, spent all day practising getting the focus right (chip is in the post ;) ) and used it to shoot a magic show last night. Got a lot of masses as the moved around but boy, when it's in focus - WOW! Guess I'll need to get some pics up later on.
I think I'm in love ;)

My AF chip arrived on Monday and was fitted yesterday, so today the 85 was stuck on a 7D and accompanied me on a visit to my grandad's then my great uncle & aunties.
All shot a f1.4 - what a great wee lens!

A wee stolen shot of my assistant, who definitely does NOT like having her photo taken:
