Dankata, question for you. Do you have a stash of suits and wedding dresses for your clients to wear for shoots? Or are those the actual clothes they get married in, that they wear in pools, on sandy beaches, in the surf... just curious. It makes for amazing photos, but I can't imagine wearing my tux in the ocean!

Wow, I haven't seen any action shots with this lens yet?

Agreed, there are surprisingly few folks posting action shots from it. I have a few - I bought it for taking fishing action shots with the 7D. However, soon after I got the 5DIII and it wasn't quite long enough, so I got a 200mm f2.8. I couldn't bring myself to sell such a great lens though! But it must be great for basketball, volleyball, badminton, mountain biking and loads of other stuff?

Anyway, here's a couple from me...

Doggy shot (don't know why he was giving me the moody look)...

I sold my 135L today and I miss it already. But I don't need both, 70-200 f2,8L II and 135L.

You shall regret!!!

^^^ great shot really. There's just purple fringing though but I know it's hard to avoid in subject like this. This can definitely fix in LR though.

Sorry, no excuses - laziness on my part trusting to the auto CA correction in ACR7 . It's not its strongest suit! Never mind, it's allowed the odd weak spot, eh?

Sometimes in these sorts of shots (and I take a lot in the course of a season) the light scattering is such that as fast as you correct purple or cyan or green on one side, it just reappears on the other, so when I see it, I don't tend to go diving in. However, in this shot it was indeed easy to fix. Hopefully I have made a better job of it, so if you hit refresh it should look a lot better now.

Cheers,

Col

Hey, Col, Here's one for you! Beautiful day here on the West Coast...

Very nice as always Annie. Weather here was actually slightly better today - snow showers with sunny spells. Still that bitter east wind, but not cutting you in half like it was last week!
