Ok it works...my camera shows 21 actuations since unboxing yesterday evening, I am relieved!

So for macintosh owners this procedure worked for me with 10.7.5

EOS 6D Actuation Number with OSX:

- Download Xcode from appstore (free)
- Download and run Homebrew http://mxcl.github.com/homebrew/index.html (external link) (free)
- Download and run gPhoto2 (free) following instructions from that blog: http://www.twam.info …s-7d-shuttercount-on-os-x (external link)

It's all done trough the Terminal, but it takes 10mn all in all and you just have to follow instructions, it's really easy.

I hope this will help somebody else.

Now I'll play with my new camera!

We had a photowalk at Bondi Beach, Sydney yesterday. About 300+ attended. Was an amazing event. Here are couple of my shots. Will share more soon.

Another self portrait with the WiFi. I think this one shows pretty well how bored I was with having nothing better to shoot :p

fairly heavy crop using the 100-400 at maximum length. Focus right on for this moving "wrabbit."

Renting out both the 6D and the 17 TS-E. Fell in love with the 6D within 5 mins of holding it. Was a hater of the body when it was announced but now I am looking to get one later this year

The girl in red looks 'not amused'. Did you give her the wrong present? ;)
