funny, someone else on FB asked if i used the 85L too...
i used the 70-200 on all three.

There's 4 ways to achieve a shallow DoF. And i used all 4 (at least on 2 of em)
-wide aperture
-far distance from the subject to the background
-close distance from the subject to the lens
-long focal length

Ah, that wouldve been my second guess :)

But yeah the longer the focal length definitely helps but personally id rather have a larger aperture if I had to pick between the two

I agree, AH created a special image there. The eyes and lips draw you in as well, but the colors are something else.
