Nice to know people are looking and (still) liking! #2 Standing on the bridge now and having a good view of the Mouth of the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal and beyond that Het IJ (IJ Harbour). IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/2ib2HH3 #3 Today I took Nifty to the park again as I wanted to get a good image of the large lake east of Flevopark, called 't Nieuwe Diep. I took 9 shots for this panorama. We're looking southward here. The east edge of the park is on the right of the image.IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/2iaZoRB Wild Birds of Europe: https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=19371752

I think the main dancers and the musicians are a hired group and not part of the family. The sun was too harsh and I couldn't get a better position, so I converted it to B&W which improved things a bit.IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/2iaZpCB #6 Then I looked up and saw people hanging out the windows, looking at the dancers. But it wasn't until I saw the image on the big screen that I saw the bride in that bottom window and she is actually smiling at me. About 1,000 maple trees are tapped for syrup in the traditional way, with metal spigots and buckets to collect the sap. ▽ Image hosted by forum (643015) © AE12XTI [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Quite fascinating. The buckets are so much nicer than the tubes! Although I would pass up on that meal: sausages and baked beans with buttermilk pancakes to me is a most peculiar combination!
